The word "quirky" has become the quick and easy way to describe films such as LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE and LARS AND THE REAL GIRL that straddle the lines between indie and studio films and comedy and drama. While JUNO fits into that same category, this distinctive dramedy is in a class all it's own. Ellen Page (X-MEN: THE LAST STAND) stars as Juno, a witty teenage girl whose boredom doesn't lead her to the mall. Instead, she makes a one-time trip into the arms of her best friend Paulie Bleeker (Michael Cera). When Juno discovers that she's pregnant, she's forced to grow up fast as she tries to find adoptive parents for her quickly growing child. Director Jason Reitman Star Ellen Page, Michael Cera, Allison Janney, J.K. Simmons, Rainn Wilson, Jason Bateman, Jennifer Garner, Olivia Thirlby Special Features: Widescreen - 1.85 Audio: Dolby Digital Surround - Spanish, French Dolby Digital 5.1 - English Subtitles - English, Spanish - Optional Additional Release Material: Alternate Scenes - Deleted Scenes (11; w/ Optional Commentary) Audio Commentaries - Jason Reitman Director; Diablo Cody - Screenwriter Behind the Scenes - 1. Reviews:

Ellen Page rocked our world in the little-seen Hard Candy, in which she played MENSA-smart jailbait, scheming to entrap a child molester. Those who saw Candy (and X-Men 3, where she did plenty with precious little material) were eagerly anticipating a breakout role somewhere on the horizon. It's safe to say that Juno qualifies. As the eponymous protagonist, Page plays a knocked-up 16-year-old who opts to go through all three trimesters, then give her newborn to a dysfunctional suburban couple (Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner). Expecting indignant, seething parents? J.K. Simmons and Alison Janney are anything but. Further playing against type, Juno actually has feelings for the equally green young father (Superbad's Michael Cera), which she naturally subverts. Give credit to director Jason Reitman (Thank You for Smoking) and first-time screenwriter Diablo Cody for finding the perfect balance of hip snark and genuine affection in this startling success.
