It's official: America does not care when Adam Sandler takes on serious roles. It's also a shame. In Mike Binder's follow up to The Upside of Anger, Sandler plays a man who lost his family in 9/11 and responds by bottling it up and wandering the streets of NYC. Ultimately, he runs into his college roommate (the always awesome Don Cheadle) and together they begin piecing his life back together. Harrowing and affecting, Reign is one of last year's most underrated films.
