Somehow, the producers of this show either neglected to consult or refused to acknowledge the Red Hot Chili Peppers' hit single "Californication," which understandably brought on a lawsuit from the band last year. Which is weird, since Rachel Miner's character is referred to as "Dani California," another Chilis tune. Roadblocks aside, David Duchovny has forged an impressive comeback (despite early pans) as a screwed-up novelist getting hedonistic in L.A.
