Chumbawamba was formed in North England in the Thatcherite '80s. Influenced by the DIY ethos of punk, they began spewing out a mixture of politics, pop culture and loud, loud noise. Along with a rep for being one of the best live bands in the U.K., almost every one of their 9 albums has reached the top of the U.K. indie charts.
