Leading up to this album, Paul McCoy was merely an answer to a TRL trivia question: Who was that dude who rapped/sang on Evanescence's "Bring Me to Life" again? Now McCoy and his Louisiana quintet are back with a simmering modern rock platter from the Hinder school of bombast. "Lie to Me" is just the sort of muscular mid-tempo rocker that could take "Lips of an Angel"'s spot on the charts (if the kids ever get tired of requesting it.)
