John Cusack gives a hilarious performance in War, Inc., a political satire set in Turaqistan, a country occupied by an American private corporation and run by a former U.S. Vice President. In an effort to monopolize the opportunities the war-torn nation offers, the corporation's CEO hires Cusack to kill a Middle Eastern oil minister.
Reviews:
Well, this is odd. First there was a mountain of bad buzz for John Cusack’s ostensible (but not at all official) sequel to Grosse Pointe Blank, in which he plays a corporate hitman in a fictional Middle East country. Then, in limited release, War pulled in per-screen averages to put Crystal Skull to shame. Now, despite that remarkable 180, it’s being relegated to DVD. Here’s where War finally achieves cultdom.
