More Info:
Advice columnist and widowed father of three Dan Burns (Steve Carell) has met someone new. Marie (Juliette Binoche) is beautiful, she's smart - and she just so happens to be the girlfriend of Dan's brother Mitch (Dane Cook). With a publicly recognized moral compass, Dan finds himself torn between reaching for happiness and keeping the peace in his family.Reviews:
Maybe we've been a little harsh on Steve Carell in past installments of this section. After all, The Daily Show, The Office and Little Miss Sunshine are enough to earn almost anybody else a lifetime pass. Who really cares if, say, Evan Almighty is a crappy cash-grab? Well, for whatever it's worth, Carell seems to have found his touch again with Real Life, a nuanced, sensitive comedy in which Carell tries to stave off infatuation with his brother's (Dane Cook) bookish girlfriend (Juliette Binoche).
