Limited 180 gm vinyl LP repressing of the UK band's 1980 debut album. Featuring the hit single 'Geno' and a clutch of other Soul-inflected stormer 's, SEARCHING FOR THE YOUNG SOUL REBELS was a breath of fresh air following the aural attack of Punk just a few short years before. Armed with the same energy, Kevin Rowland and cohorts reinvented Soul music complete with a smoking hot horn section. The band would later switch gears and record the excellent TOO RYE AYE two years later, but this album is an entirely different ball of wax, literally and figuratively!
